I'm Back!!
It's been a while since I had time to do anything on the blog. I've been going to school to get a Certificate 3 in Health Support Services through my workplace. I've really missed having time to design. I have 2 kits in the works but who knows when they will be finished. In the meantime, I've managed to do a special request alpha for a friend that I will share so stay tuned!

The Best Laid Plans....
....of mice and kit designers often go astray! LOL! I thought that this time I'd get in early so I started on my Valentine kit just after New Year. It started out great, then things at work got hectic and slowed me down a bit; not to mention that my son was on summer holidays from school until today (yes, it's summer in Australia). Still, I persevered and thought I would have it ready by the last week in January.
Alas, it was not to be. On Wednesday that week we were struck by the worst heat wave and hottest day here since 1953! Temps were above 40C/100F for 4 days straight. We reached 47C/117F at the worst. I never even saw temps like that back in Texas! The trains had trouble running because the tracks warped from the heat. We had power blackouts because the system couldn't cope. Imagine that heat with not even being able to turn a fan on!!!
We were lucky enough not to lose power until Friday evening and thank goodness there was a cool sea breeze outside by then so it was bearable. We were also fortunate that we were without power only for an hour. Some people spent hours and even days without it.
Sooo.... with the heat and threats of outages... my computer stayed off for most of the week. I did turn it on that Friday evening with the intention of working on the kit. When the black out hit and I lost a whole folder of mail in OE (sigh) and it kept me from getting anything done.
With all the drama, I've had to cut the kit off without a few things I'd planned or I'd never get it posted in time. Still.... I hope you will enjoy it. Now I'm getting started on St. Paddy's Day!

Ready to go, I think!
At long last, I think I'm ready to get this show on the road! I did have a website I created on my own when I was doing email stationery many years ago but this blogging thing is a bit different and the web has changed. Back then it was HTML, now it's XML and I'm behind the times! LOL! So this will be a work in progress, along with what I plan to share here.
I don't actually do digital scrapbooking. Animated sig tags are my current thing, so everything I share is designed with that in mind. Still, who knows what will happen in the future. Please do take time to read my TOU included in the downloads. There aren't many restrictions, more /"you cans"/, than /"you can'ts"/ but since I'm sharing freely, I'd appreciate you following them.
